U need
Achinga Payar/String beans -1lb cut lengthwise 1 inch pieces
shallots sliced -4 nos
Chopped garlic -1 tsp
whole dried red chillies chopped -3 nos
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Curry Leaves -a few
mustard seeds-1 tsp
Salt – to taste
Oil – as needed
Coconut Cuts-1/4 cup
How to make
1.Cook payar/beans with enough water,1 tsp salt and 1 tsp turmeric(till its tender).
2.Heat oil in a pan splutter mustard seeds,and add onions,chillies,coconut cuts and curry leaves into it.
3.Saute for 5 minutes and add garlic.Saute for 2 more mins.Finally add the cooked beans.
4.Stir well and switch off the heat when all water goes off and dish is almost dry.
5.Serve with rice.

Looks good! Had recently added String beans in Sambar..in that also it tasted nice.
This is a easy and healthy poriyal recipe. Love to have it with rice n sambar.
