Quail Roast/Kada Kozhi Roast


U need
Quail -1 no
Chopped Onions-1 no
Tomato sliced-1 no
Gharam Masala-3 tsp
Garlic chopped-3 pods
Ginger chopped-4 tsp
Chilly powder-4 tsp
Pepper Powder-3 tsp
turmeric powder-2 tsp
Lemon Juice-3 tsp
Curry Leaves-2 stems
Kerala Coconut Oil for deep frying Quail-1 cup
cilantros-1/2 cup..

How to make Quail Roast/Kada Kozhi Roast
1.Clean Quail pieces with curd and turmeric.
2.Marinate Quail pieces with 2 tsp lemon juice,1 tsp salt ,2 tsp chilli powder,1 tsp turmeric pow and 1 tsp pepper powder.
Keep in freezer for 15 mins till all the marination gets absorbed into it..
4.Deep fry the Quail pieces in oil till its bit crispy...
5.Take a frying non stick pan,pour some oil ,saute well ginger and garlic till its brown..
6.Then put the chopped onions and saute well till its brown..
7.Then add the sliced tomatoes and saute for 5 mins..Add curry leaves too..
8.Put rest of chilly ,turmeric,pepper and gharam masala powders...(The quantities u can change acc to ur taste)..(check the taste of gravy in btw) .Sprinkle rest of lemon juice..Mix well..
9.Pour tomato sauce to this mixture so that the gravy is thick,then put fried Quail pieces.... Put sme cilantros..
10.Mix well and serve after decorating with fresh cilantros..

I always prefer quail in roast form...your version sounds nice too:) Quail is one my favourite meat.
